 KNITTING PATTERNS PROJECTS OH MY: - Fates are a bit more favorable for the Carabe Kid sweater pattern than they were for the previous incarnation of this yarn. Sweater is knitting up quickly and going great! Love the contrast between Arctic and Pavement colorways.

 - Finished up Scrip Scrap Hat and it already found an owner.

- Wrapping up Tiny Twist Knit along, and preparing for the next knit along coming up in my groups. Mad May!!

GEEK FILES The Walking Dead: SPOILER WARNING for episode titled EAST. - Rocking back and forth chanting .... He's okay, Daryl's okay. He has be okay!!! - Everyone is in danger - The finale is next week, I think I'm going to need therapy !!

KNITTING PATTERNS, PROJECTS OH MY:

- Sunday Stroll Cowl and Hat are finished! LOVED this pattern.I loved it, the result was so cute and I will definitely be making more of these! So many more hats I foresee in my future with this pattern. Elena Nodel is one of the best designers.

-Take Two on the little man sweater. Trying a different pattern called Carabe Kid! Cross your fingers this one works out better than the last.

The Walking Dead: Twice as Far
- Not my favorite episode by far and it was definitely a filler episode. We lost a character, I felt like, much too soon. She had more potential than that, but the clock is certainly on the countdown to Negan. It keeps building the tensioN!


OUR FIRST CON!

- Cosplayers are amazingly awesome! ANyone who does this has my admiration. Such cool work that we saw, and almost all were super nice and gracious about posing for photos or chatting about their outfits.

- So many things to buy. All the toys! Comics, shirts, books, and just generally cool things that you are going to want to blow your paycheck on!

-Crowds: way more than you think to expect. Long lines, tight fits in some booths.

-Meeting R2D2 was a highlight!

Knitting patterns projects, Oh my:

- Sunday Stroll Cowl and Hat by Elena Nodel. Love this pattern. Using Electromagic face and Charcoal in DK Twist. This is another tiny twist knit along project.

- I am giving up on the Metamorphic pullover for now. For whatever reason its not speaking to me, I'm going to save it for another time.

-Got some new yarn. Alegria by Manos Del Uruguay, so pretty!

Episode 5 Synopsis


Knitting Patterns Projects Oh My:

- Stranding knitting isn't my thing, skill....whatever! Project is lovely,  but I need to up my game and practice/figure out this whole carrying 2 yarns thing without puckering tension or losing count, my place, my patience, you name it, I lost it on this project! But I survived and it's done. On to other things!

- Metamorphic pullover and I are giving each other some space, but prognosis is still a mystery. Love the design and look of the sweater, but there will be some stranded knitting involved and well...see the above project for how well that went. But practice is needed, so I may just soldier on.

- Considering starting a Puck hat or an Aftermath cowl....didn't I just say I was not liking Stranded?! Either I have a split personality or am a glutton for punishment.

- Some new yarn from GGH yarns made its way into the stash this week, so soft, baby alpaca.
